FAQs

Q How much is a Kakadu park pass?

Kakadu has a seasonal pricing structure, with lower prices during our tropical summer from November to May. Family passes are available for two adults and two or more children.

Northern Territory residents go free with proof of residency.

Q When is the best time to visit Kakadu?

Kakadu is open all year round. During the tropical summer some areas are closed due to flooding. But many iconic sites, like Burrungkuy (Nourlangie), Ubirr and Yellow Water (Ngurrungurrudjba) wetlands can be accessed whether it’s wet or dry.
